Long thick hair, which can be obtained in a few hours, not years, is the dream of almost every representative of the fair sex.

Interestingly, girls who decided on this procedure for the first time often have a fairly complete idea of how the building process itself takes place, and how their hairstyle should look like immediately after going to the salon, but rarely get acquainted with the important basics of care for hair extensions before meeting with the master.

But it’s not scary! Now we will understand the subtleties of this separate art – daily care of hair extensions. We are sure that you will succeed, and over time you will master it perfectly!

A few simple rules, the knowledge of which will allow you to easily tame even the longest hair extensions:

1. Forget about washing your head outside the vertical position. My head standing in the shower, slightly tilting it back;

2. Be sure to use conditioner, balm or mask every time you wash your hair, even if you have not had such a habit before. In this sense, hair extensions need especially careful care;

3. A traditional big bath towel on the head after washing your hair? It’s not forbidden at all! But if you are very worried about the flawless appearance of your hair, you can use a light towel that absorbs moisture well (for example, waffle, or made of other thin fabric) at first (until you are sure when handling extended hair);

4. Never comb wet hair. Wait for them to dry naturally or use a hair dryer;

5. Ideally, special combs should be used to comb extended hair. They are presented in two types: Tangle Teezer with soft bristles or with two levels of bristles (teeth). If you don’t have such a comb yet, you should take care of buying it. Even special combs should be used with caution, slowly moving from the tips to the roots. At the same time, it will be convenient to grab the hair in a ponytail with one hand;

6. When getting ready for bed, take a minute to put your hair in a loose braid. This minute will save you a lot of time the next morning when combing.
